From Lisbon (300 Km/186 miles): Follow the north direction in the A1 highway
and leave Torres Novas for the IP 6, until Castelo Branco. In Castelo Branco follow the A23 highway to Fundão.
You will find the last exit to leave for the EN18 there, take the direction of Covilhã. When arriving at Covilhã,
continue following to Guarda. After 7 Km( 4.4 miles) you will see de chaple of "Senhora Do Carmo". Continue in
direction to Guarda and count 5 courves from here (1 Km/0.6 miles), and enter in the gate that says CASA DA FIGUEIRA GRANDE, on the
right side of the road.

From Oporto (about 200 Km/125 miles). Follow the south direction inde A1 highway and leave
in Albergaria-a-Velha. Turn to Guarda (Vilar Formoso) direction in IP-5 main road.
In IP-5 main road, 2 Km (1.2 miles) after the turn to Guarda, follow the exit to the A23 highway in direction to Portalegre. Leave
in Caria after 35 Km (25 miles). Follow to Covilhã until de crossroad in the chapel of Senhora do Carmo. Turn right
in direction of Guarda, and count 5 courves from here (1 Km/0.6 miles), and enter in the gate that says CASA DA FIGUEIRA GRANDE, on
